The WFSKO is a global community dedicated to the art of traditional Shotokan Karate. Established by Master Hasan Mohd. Ismaeel , a direct disciple of Master Kenneth Funakoshi forth Causing of Master Gichin Funakoshi the revered founder of Shotokan Karate our organization preserves and promotes the timeless values and teachings of authentic karate.
As a non-profit and non-Political organization, the WFSKO holds steadfast to the spirit and principles of Shotokan through the Dojo Kun and Niju Kun, guiding members of all ages to cultivate character, respect, and resilience. While deeply rooted in tradition, the WFSKO connects students and practitioners in India & worldwide, building unity and mutual understanding through the shared pursuit of karate excellence.

Gichin Funakoshi
Shotokan is a traditional Japanese martial art founded by Gichin Funakoshi (1868–1957), characterized by powerful, linear techniques, long, deep stances, and a focus on building character, physical fitness, and mental discipline. It is a "Hard" style emphasizing distance management and explosive in-and-out movements, often utilizing 26 core kata.

Known as the "father of modern karate," Okinawan master Gichin Funakoshi introduced this style to mainland Japan in 1922. "Shotokan" was the nickname of his training hall, meaning "shaking pines".
